Funny that the folks who think that impeachment tries to “undo an election” by citizen-voters don’t have problems when Trump uses his pardon power to “undo a conviction” by citizen-juries.
Wait, what? “It’s in the Constitution!” you say? Yes, exactly.
In the last week, the President has pardoned fraudsters who’ve stolen hundreds of millions of dollars from taxpayers and investors ...
and proposed $2 trillion in budget cuts from essential gov’t programs.
This isn’t fiscal responsibility; it’s theft.
GOP Sen. Joni Ernst of Iowa told donors at a high-dollar fundraiser in Washington, D.C. that federal spending on non-discretionary programs like Medicare, Medicaid & Social Security is "out of control" and will require "changes" (i.e., cuts) in the future.
De facto welfare for the rich. Propaganda of the robber barons.
There is zero evidence the Democratic base, esp in electoral states we need to win will show up for this man. The reporting and videos of misogyny, racism - anti farmers - will continue to leak out. This is NOT a safe alternative as it is being presented. This is propaganda.
Bloomberg is being vetted and he is failing.
I wasn’t going to beat Trump in the Primary. Nobody could. It’s HIS Republican party. It’s not mine.
But it still blows me away that Donald Trump cancelled Republican primaries & caucuses in ten states, disenfranchising millions of Republican voters, and nobody seemed to care.
1. He turned over classified info to Saudi prince Mohammed bin Salman, listing opponents of the royal family.
2. Shortly afterwards, MbS slaughtered Jamal Khashoggi.
3. He managed MbS via WhatsApp on how to get away with murder.
Where is the investigation into Jared Kushner?
All you need to know about the Electoral College is that Wyoming has 1 electoral vote per 192,000 people, while California has 1 electoral vote per 727,000 people.
If you believe in democracy and can do simple math, you should oppose the Electoral College.
Keep up the drum beat: Why did Justice Kennedy retire so abruptly? What role did his son at Deutsche Bank play? Who paid off Brett Kavanaugh’s $92,000 country club fees plus his $200,000 credit card debt plus his $1.2 million mortgage, and purchased themselves a SCOTUS seat?
A budget is a reflection of our values. Trump proposed cuts to Medicaid, student loan assistance, Social Security Disability Insurance, medical research, nutrition assistance, and more—but included an additional $2 billion for his useless wall. It’s downright heartless.
“I believe Kavanaugh was falsely accused and will be a fair judge for women.”
“I think Bill Barr will uphold the law.”
“I believe the President has learned his lesson.”
We deserve a Senator with better judgement.
