Just as black-and-white has a greater intensity than colour, breaking down reality into an essence and emphasising pattern and signal over noise, using so simple an instrument as a cellphone raises vision over technique, writes @DalrympleWill,

The whole thing is interesting, but the story of your ancestor Prattle's end is fantastic @DalrympleWill

What dumb things are you freakishly good at?
For me:
- threading a needle
- memorizing long strings of numbers
- finding basic things (scissors, vacuum, can opener) in someone else's house

I can’t find my sewing scissors. Can you come over?

There is a bear with two cubs in the Dechenphu trail area. Please be careful if you walk that way.

Bear alert!
