Oh God, @oconnellbrian telling the story on @IrelandAMVMTV from of a pensioner writing a small ad looking for a dog is just exquisite.

The man’s dog had died & dogs had shown him loyalty & love in life when humans didn’t.

Oh god ❤️🐶❤️

This is a terrific read. Hilarious, sad, perplexing and hugely entertaining.
I couldn't put it down @oconnellbrian #Irishbookawards @AnPostIBAS

My timeline yesterday was full of people retweeting Johnson’s terrible election video, extending its reach multiple times beyond the possible paid-for audience.

A reminder: retweets of aesthetically bad ads just turns you into a rebroadcast of the ads.

Through the starchy, confident chill of a November morning, a faint rustling can be heard, the middle aged man unspools himself from the bracken. Stretching limb by limb, he returns to another long day of railing against modern music, man

Tonight, on the exit ramp, I helped a man change his tire. He had his MAGA hat and a Trump2020 bumper sticker. I didn't care. He's someone in need. We're all human. Did I then give the wrong directions taking him 20 miles west of his destination? You're goddamn right I did.

Phone rings and rings and rings. Special assistant @paulhayesman goes over to phone and answers.

*Boss. Boss? Here, UCD and RTE on the phone, they want to talk to you about paying cash money for your fantastically clever idea*

Assuming #RTE own the land in Donnybrook, how much would they receive if they sold the site and moved to somewhere cheaper in the outer suburbs?

The site is huge, and you could literally develop a new inner city village on the site.

Mmmyes and you could do the same with UCD and then rural students could have a fair shake at 3rd level. It all fits.

Stop what you are doing, I’ve found today’s worst take

Bridgen turns to unpaid intern and says
I think that went very well.
Do you think that went very well?
